At Brickworks Dental, we are committed to ensuring the quality of our products and providing excellent customer service. This policy outlines your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our procedures for refunds and returns.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- A repair or replacement if the goods fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Returns and Refunds
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
If you believe a product you have purchased is faulty, damaged, or does not meet its advertised description, please contact us at admin@brickworksdental.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order.
Conditions for Returns
- Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.
- Condition of Goods: The product must be returned in its original packaging where possible.
- Assessment: All returned products will be assessed to determine if they qualify for repair, replacement, or refund.
How to Lodge a Request

- Provide the following:
- Details of your purchase (e.g., order number).
- A description of the issue and photos where applicable.
- We will assess your claim and provide guidance on the next steps, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping Address Issues: If a delivery issue arises due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer, we can resend the product(s) to a corrected address at the customer’s expense.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Exceptions
The following are not covered under this policy:
- Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, improper care, or wear and tear.
- Returns for change of mind.
- Single-use items.
- Products with a digital component.
Processing Time
Once we receive and assess your returned product, we will notify you of the outcome within 7 business days. If a refund is approved, it will be processed using your original payment method.
Warranty
In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, we offer a 12-month warranty on all non-single-use products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal usage conditions.
What Our Warranty Covers:
- Manufacturing defects.
- Faults occurring during normal usage within the warranty period.
What Our Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidental damage.
- Wear and tear from regular use.
- Issues resulting from failure to follow care or usage instructions.

- Proof of purchase.
- A description of the fault or defect, including photos where applicable.
Warranty Process
- We will assess your claim to determine whether the fault is covered under warranty.
- If approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion.
- For claims not approved, we will notify you of the reason.
